Introducing the ZEPHR T1
Cold air. On demand. Anywhere.
The Zephr™ Turbo Jet Fan pairs a high-speed brushless motor with a precision-shaped nozzle to deliver a refreshing, ice-cool blast of air wherever you are. Designed to help you stay comfortable on hot days, it delivers powerful airflow and an enhanced cooling sensation in a compact, rechargeable design. No bulky equipment — just portable cooling that goes wherever you do.
Why the T1
Six reasons it beats the fan in your bag
Most handheld fans wave warm air at your face and run flat before lunch. The T1 was built to fix both.
-
Powerful Turbo Airflow
A high-speed brushless motor delivers a concentrated stream of air that helps you cool down in seconds. Powerful enough for hot summer days, yet compact enough to take anywhere.
-
Ice Cooling Technology
A concentrated jet of air across bare skin lifts heat and moisture away with it, so it feels ice-cold on your neck and wrists — exactly where your body sheds heat fastest.
-
USB Rechargeable
Recharge easily from a power bank, laptop, car charger or USB adapter. Stay cool at home, at work or while travelling without constantly replacing batteries.
-
Adjustable Speed Modes
Choose the airflow that suits you. From a gentle breeze to maximum turbo cooling, you're always in control.
-
Lightweight & Travel Ready
Designed to fit easily into your handbag, backpack or luggage, making it the perfect companion for holidays, commuting, festivals and everyday use.
-
Quiet Brushless Motor
The efficient brushless motor delivers strong airflow with reduced noise, making it ideal for use in the office, on public transport or anywhere you need discreet cooling.
The difference
The ZEPHR T1 against an ordinary handheld fan
Not a fan with a nicer badge. A different way of moving air, and it is obvious within a second of switching it on.
| Feature | ZEPHR T1 | Ordinary handheld fan |
|---|---|---|
| Motor | Brushless | Brushed DC motor |
| Airflow | Vaneless jet nozzle, one focused column | Open blades, scattered wash |
| Reach | Felt at arm's length | Effective at roughly 30 cm |
| Noise character | A clean hum on low settings | Brush chatter and blade rattle |
| Safety | No exposed blades to catch hair or fingers | Spinning blades behind a plastic cage |
| Charging | USB, and it runs while plugged in | USB, and most stop when charging |
| Carry | Pocketable, nothing to snap | Bulky, fragile blade cage |
| Warranty | Two years, motor and battery | Rarely offered |
| Support | UK-based, reply within one working day | An unmonitored inbox |

Questions
Everything people ask before they buy
Does it actually make the air colder?
No — and any handheld fan claiming otherwise is stretching the truth. There is no refrigerant and no compressor in a device this size.
What the T1 does is move a great deal of air, very fast, exactly where you aim it. That airflow evaporates the moisture on your skin and carries your body heat away with it, and your nerve endings read that as cold. A thermometer held in the airflow would read close to room temperature. Your neck will strongly disagree.
We would rather explain that than let you find out.
Where should I point it?
Your neck, your wrists, the inside of your elbows. Blood runs closest to the surface in those places, so moving air pulls heat out of you fastest there. Pointing it at your face is pleasant; pointing it at your neck is what actually changes how you feel.
How long does the battery last?
Long enough for a commute, a gym session, or an afternoon out — but it depends enormously on the setting. Turbo drains it quickly, because it is moving a lot of air. The low setting runs for hours.
It also runs while plugged in, so a small power bank makes runtime a non-issue on a long journey.
Is it loud?
On the low settings, no — brushless motors have no carbon brushes to chatter, so it hums rather than rattles, and it disappears into the background noise of an office.
On turbo it is clearly audible. It is moving a serious volume of air and physics does not allow that quietly. Anyone who tells you their turbo fan is silent is describing a fan that is not doing very much.
Can I take it on a plane?
It contains a built-in lithium battery, so it travels in your cabin baggage and never in the hold. That is a rule for every lithium cell, not a quirk of ours.
Airlines permit lithium batteries below 100 Wh without prior approval. We are confirming the exact watt-hour rating with the manufacturer and will publish it on this page. Until then, check with your carrier before you fly.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the housing with a dry cloth. With no exposed blades there is nothing to dismantle and no cage to pick dust out of. Do not run it under a tap, and do not use solvents on the shell.
When will my order arrive?
UK orders are dispatched the same working day if you order before 3pm, and arrive within 2–4 working days on a tracked service. Delivery is free, with no minimum spend. You will receive a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel leaves us.
What if I do not get on with it?
Send it back within 30 days for a full refund, used or unused, and we pay the return postage. That sits on top of your statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
The T1 is also covered by a two-year warranty on the motor and battery. If it fails, we replace it.
